New Single
'River'

Timothy Hoad is an acoustic singer-songwriter based in the Staffordshire Moorlands.

Timothy first picked up the guitar, microphone and pen in the early 2000's as a teenager, and since has never stopped writing and honing his craft, playing to audiences up and down the country in the years that followed as a professional musician at festivals, on the streets, and a whole manner of venues big and small with his folk/folk rock songs that are usually woven with themes of dreams and nature.

Influenced by a plethora of artists that range from great grunge songwriters like Chris Cornell and Jerry Cantrell, to the more ethereal and dreamlike artists like Enya and Clannad, Timothy has found an accessible balance that's unique, melodic, catchy and inviting to any listener.

His debut 3 track EP 'Sunlight' (recorded at Prism Studios, Hanley) received much positive reception at both festivals and radio airtime, but his crowning achievement so far was two of his songs in later years 'Soulgander' and 'You Can Do Anything', respectively, being played on BBC Introducing, both self-produced.

"Such a mellow sound from Timothy" - Andrew Marston, BBC Introducing

"A breath of fresh air, harmonies uplifting and giving you a reason to smile; a must-listen" - Eric Furze, Stafford FM

"Clearly, on the basis of the compassionately deep lyricism, the up-and-coming artist is leading by example in terms of self-awareness" - Amelia Vandergast, ANR Factory

Timothy is aiming to work harder than ever to showcase his new material far and wide, and to keep writing beyond that.
